Submit Work to the Outsider's Guide

The Outsider’s Guide to Melbourne is a project that is not only made for, but also by emerging artists. For this reason, we are aware of how stressful and frustrating it can be to be waiting for a reply after submitting a piece of work. This is why we intend to have an ongoing channel of communication with the people that submit us their work. Through this channel, we are compromising on giving a first response to any submitted work after no more than two weeks.

Taking into account that the Internet is a multimedia platform, we are open to contributions in any format that can be uploaded onto the Web, as long as the bytes of such file contain a non-fiction story occurred within the metropolitan area of the Greater Melbourne.

The intention of the Outsider’s Guide to Melbourne is to be a censorship-free space. We invite collaborators from every social and cultural background to send us their stories and express their points of view and opinions in an open manner. However, we will refrain to publish anything that we consider to be offensive to certain values like race, gender, culture or creed.

The Outsider’s Guide to Melbourne works as a channel in which our contributors can show their work to the public. The copyrights of the works published in the Outsider’s Guide to Melbourne belong to the authors of such works. Hence, by sending us their stories, the contributors are also holding themselves responsible for the content of their work. The liability for the content of each work submitted to the Outsider’s Guide to Melbourne will lie on the author of the work.
